As part of its activities, the firm Esa Recruitment & Interim recruits on behalf of one of its clients a Chief Financial Officer.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
Management and Budgetary Control:
• Prepare the budget with various departments;
• Prepare budgetary reports;
• Monitor the budgets of different departments;
• Anticipate variances and adjust budgets accordingly;
• Supervise and produce weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reports.
Finance:
• In collaboration with the founders: formulate the financial strategy;
• Ensure the relationship and negotiations with the financial and commercial partners of the company;
• Support growth: seek funding, grants, liaise with banks and shareholders, financial communication;
• Participate in an upcoming fundraising operation;
• Monthly management and review of the P&L Cash-Flow: monitor cash flows and optimize cash, track the portfolio account, and provide daily cash reporting to the General Management and forecast;
• Budget preparation.
Financial Leadership:
• Contribute to the company's growth and development strategy, including fundraising, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and partnerships;
• Design and implement dashboards tailored to the needs and expectations of various users, whether internal (CEO and employees) or external (investors, partners, clients, etc.);
• Analyze and interpret financial data using statistical tools, predictive models, and prospective scenarios;
• Communicate and present results, variances, risks, and opportunities using clear, precise, and pedagogical language;
• Propose and recommend corrective or strategic actions, considering the company's objectives, constraints, and resources;
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of actions, ensuring monitoring, control, and evaluation of results;
• Define and implement a financial strategy ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the company and making strong organizational choices.
o Fundraising - 3-year BP modeling
o Acquisitions
o Legal structuring of the activity
o Reporting and administrative management
o Management and monitoring of monthly Cash reporting.
Accounting and Taxation:
• Monitor and review accounting and invoicing;
• Monitor expenses and advise management on appropriate accounting practices;
• Manage accounting closure cycles;
• International deployment;
• Cash-flow and working capital management, cost optimization, margin monitoring;
• Monitor accounts of different subsidiaries.
Education: Hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in finance or an MBA in finance or equivalent relevant field;
Proven experience (3+ years) as a CFO or Administrative and Financial Manager.
• Knowledge of business models and strategies of technology companies;
• Understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices;
• Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting methods;
• Excellente communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong leadership and organizational skills;
• High flexibility and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment;
• Ability to question "the way things are done," lead, and implement change;
• Determination to develop strategies and solve problems;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
