As part of its activities, the firm Esa Recruitment & Interim recruits on behalf of one of its clients a Chief Financial Officer.
The Chief Financial Officer will be a key member of the executive team, providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to support the growth and financial health of the Company. This role involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, managing financial reporting, and implementing robust financial controls.
1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
a. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
b. Lead the annual budgeting process and provide financial insights to drive operational efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
a. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
b. Oversee regulatory compliance and coordinate with external auditors.
3. Capital Management and Funding:
a. Optimize the capital structure to support the company's growth initiatives.
b. Evaluate and secure funding options, including debt and equity, to fund capital projects and working capital requirements.
4. Risk Management:
a. Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
b. Establish and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
5. Treasury and Cash Management:
a. Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and effective capital utilization.
b. Monitor banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms with financial institutions.
6. Strategic Financial Leadership:
a. Collaborate with the executive team to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
b. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making on key initiatives.
7. Investor Relations:
a. Act as the primary interface with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
b. Participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences to communicate the company's financial performance and strategy.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
Proven experience (07 to 10years) as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
• Thorough understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting;
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions;
• Proven experience in managing investor relations and external financial stakeholders;
• Understanding of global financial markets, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards;
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives;
• Experience in capital management, funding, and financial risk management;
• Demonstrated success in optimizing capital structure and managing treasury function.
Being bilingual:
• English is mandatory: excellent level (spoken and written).
• French is a plus: good level (spoken and written).
